I have been doing research, of some sort, since 1995 after ending up on bed rest during my pregnancy with Eyrik. I was going stir crazy and this seemed like a good solution. The major surnames I am researching are Allen, Barker, Clough, Coleman, Cornelison, Dillenbach (Dillenbeck), Edmunds, Gleaves, and Reynolds
Not all my data has been verified. I am still working on that. This is a work in progress, so please contact me if you have any information that might help round out the picture.
WELCOME
Some families know a great deal about their roots; others know very little. This site is an attempt to record what I've learned about our family history. In these modern times, families tend to be scattered all over the country, if not the world. One of the goals of this web site is to help our family stay connected even though we live far apart.
Acknowledgments
Over the years, I have banged my head up against more walls then I care to count. I want to thank my Aunt Shirley for doing most of the hard word on the Coleman/Cornelison side and for getting me interested in genealogy. I want to thank my in-laws, David and Carol for making the trips to the cemetery with me. I would also like to thank them for being so excited by what I am doing. Thanks also to everyone else who has given me information, corrected information, supported me while I banged my head, pointed me in a different direction, etc.
